A new java champion is nominated and selected by the existing Java Champions only. If an existing Java champion finds you suitable, he or she can nominate you for the same. The Java champions work as an independent work, having no other influence or authority as such. They select the Java Champions from the nominated candidates through a peer review process.

How can you become a Java Champion?

If you are a Java engineer or architect and have enormous passion for the technology, you can try to become a Java champion. You can do the following:
