The Java champions work as an independent work, having no other influence or authority as such. They select the Java Champions from the nominated candidates through a peer review process.

How can you become a Java Champion?
If you are a Java engineer or architect and have enormous passion for the technology, you can try to become a Java champion. You can do the following:
